David Gaynor, a native New Yorker raised in a family immersed in furniture manufacturing, brings a blend of tradition and modernity to his eponymous furniture line. His designs, born from a desire to simplify construction methods, result in modern, airy pieces that effortlessly enhance any space.

With a background in furniture craftsmanship and a degree from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), David’s approach combines thoughtful design with a deep understanding of materials and construction.

He established David Gaynor Design Studio in 2010 in Brooklyn’s Industry City. Here, David’s passion for furniture design comes to life, reflecting his commitment to creating pieces that blend seamlessly into their surroundings while retaining a distinct, contemporary aesthetic.
