They are unsure about fit, scale, style, finishes, and how everything will work together in their actual space. Sales teams try to solve this with disconnected tools, screenshots, moodboards, room planners, spreadsheets, and manual quotes.

We help furniture retailers turn real catalogs and inventory into room layouts, visualizations, estimates, and orders, supported by AI at each step. The goal is simple: help customers make better decisions before they leave the showroom.

Our Founders

Ali Goodarzi // Design Lead
Ali has spent over 20 years in architecture and interior design, including several years leading design teams at West Elm. Working closely with both clients and customers, he saw how many people wanted to design their own homes but didn’t have the right tools. That experience became the starting point for aêtava.

Calvin Tsang // Technology Lead
Calvin has over ten years of experience building apps and digital platforms. He focuses on making Styleboard fast, reliable, and easy to use. His approach combines technical precision with a clear goal: to create technology that feels effortless.

We are based in Toronto and building aêtava for furniture retailers, brands, and sales teams that want a better way to help customers design, decide, and buy.

We are currently part of 2 incubators from the Toronto Metropolitan University (former Ryerson), the DMZ, and the Innovation Boost Zone. We are also part of the Cooperathon 2022 by the Desjardins.
