vorites BOX

Our favorites of the season.

Welcome to the faê.vorites homepage. Every season we will showcase our favorites of what was covered here at aêtava. The nominees are from channels related to consumer products such as furniture, lighting, rugs, and much more. We then rate them based on the 5 criteria they are measured by and award badges to the products that shine in a particular class. The highest average ranked product will be the faê.vorites product of the month.

We are not affiliated with any of the shops, brands, or manufacturers mentioned here; if we rate them highly it means we believe they stand out from the rest; it’s our honest opinion.

At the moment, the ratings are done by the aêtava panel of judges; we will however include user ratings on each of the nominated products in the future.

Timeless Contemporary

MODERN // NORDIC

Timeless Contemporary is calm and effortless, rooted in classic Scandinavian and Japandi-style design that never feels trendy. Wood anchors the space, supported by matte stone, ceramics, and soft textured fabrics.

Contrast comes from a few darker accents and clean shadow lines, not loud color. The result is warm, practical, and quietly refined.

Classic Lux

LUXURY // GLAM

Classic Lux is modern luxury with clean lines, sculptural curves, and a controlled sense of glamour. Glossy finishes, polished stone, velvet, glass, and warm metals like brass create a subtle glow and a dressed-up feel. Every piece is intentional and placed with purpose, so the room feels cohesive and elevated.

It’s more about elegance and presence than pure comfort.

California Coastal

COASTAL // CASUAL BREEZE

California Coastal is bright, breezy, and quietly luxe, with soft whites, sandy neutrals, and sun-washed woods that keep contrast low and the mood calm. Linen, cotton, woven textures, and light ceramics do most of the work, adding depth without heaviness. Furniture is lounge-friendly but still tailored and intentional.

It’s not themed or nautical, just polished casual with an airy, resort-at-home feel.

Cigar Lounge

INDUSTRIAL // WAREHOUSE

Cigar Lounge is dark, masculine, and quietly refined, built around leather, deep woods, black metal, and warm, smoky tones. The lighting is lower, the contrast is higher, and the mood is calm and collected. Furniture feels substantial but tailored, with materials that look better as they age.

It reads sophisticated and a little mysterious, like a private room in a great hotel.

Beautiful Mess

ECLECTIC // POST-MODERN

Beautiful Mess is eclectic with a post-modern edge. It mixes bold shapes, textures, patterns, and finishes that shouldn’t work together, then pulls them into balance with a few repeating choices like color, materials, or silhouettes.

It’s layered, expressive, and never minimal. Everything is welcome, as long as the chaos feels edited and intentional.

Sharp Lines

NEW MODERN // FINE

Sharp Lines is sleek and engineered, with crisp silhouettes, flawless finishes, and a disciplined layout. Marble, glass, metal, lacquer, and smooth leather do most of the work, often paired with a controlled neutral palette and high-contrast accents.

Lighting is precise, using spotlights and hidden LEDs to highlight geometry and surfaces. It feels like a luxury hotel suite, intentional, measured, and never messy.
