Designed by Francesc Rifé Studio with Exitprojectes, this single-family home revolves around two courtyards that shape its spatial and emotional essence.
The design prioritizes a continuous dialogue between natural light and the home’s interior, seamlessly blending open spaces with private areas. The ground floor, dedicated to daily living, features an open-concept layout where the kitchen, dining room, study, and living room flow into the courtyards.

Upstairs, three bedrooms are thoughtfully arranged around a central hallway that transforms into a walk-in closet for the master suite, connecting the bedroom, bathroom, and terrace. Large windows on both levels invite the outdoors inside while maintaining privacy with exterior Venetian blinds and vertical latticework.
A key architectural feature is the staircase, bathed in natural light from a skylight above. Combining oak wood, concrete, and a black steel handrail, the staircase embodies the tactile essence of the home’s material palette. This focus on texture extends throughout, with neutral tones and carefully selected materials adding warmth and depth.

At the rear, the courtyard is a serene retreat, featuring a swimming pool, lush vegetation, and a pergola that provides shade for the outdoor dining area. The black-stained wooden cladding extends beyond the facade, creating integrated outdoor storage while visually connecting with the natural surroundings.
Inside, the design emphasizes comfort and simplicity. In the living room, a storage unit blends into the walls, drawing attention to a minimalist fireplace that serves as the heart of family life. With its thoughtful design and emphasis on light, materiality, and spatial flow, the S29 House is both a functional home and a modern architectural landmark.
