aêtava is a carefully curated marketplace of bespoke, unique, and handmade furniture and home decor that are responsibly sourced and manufactured by artisans from all over the world.

Our goal is to support these wonderful artisans and help them expand their brands and reach new markets. We would do whatever it takes to make sure our artisans are well taken care of so they can focus on what they do best, which is crafting stunning pieces of interior products.

Our platform has several different parts. First is the magazine where awesome projects, products, and pieces are introduced. The magazine features different channels; each is dedicated to a category ranging from architecture, and interior design, to lighting and furniture, and even rugs, accessories, and artwork.

Second, is the design section. The LookBooks are where we break down projects and explore how each space was created. We then introduce the products and pieces featured in each space along with the finishes and materials used in designing them.

And finally is the marketplace. The aêtava shop is where you’ll be able to purchase the unique pieces that were introduced in the magazine and LookBooks directly from the artisans who created them.

We are also working on some super exciting projects that we will be rolling out as we go along. At the moment, we have a super small team, but we are crazy passionate about design and decor, and we have big plans.

Our team is scattered all over the world thanks to the power of the web,  but feel free to get in touch and let us know how you like aêtava. We welcome any cool ideas you might have or possible collaborations you want to do.

We are currently part of 2 incubators from the Toronto Metropolitan University (former Ryerson), the DMZ, and the Innovation Boost Zone. We are also part of the Cooperathon 2022 by the Desjardins.
