The Tube Chandelier, Michael Anastassiades’ inaugural light design from 2006, stemmed from a concept of subtraction. The challenge was to suspend the fewest possible incandescent light tubes in a sculptural arrangement, creating a vertical chandelier with discreet supports that would reveal only three glowing lines when illuminated.

Originally designed with incandescent 1m tube bulbs, the fixture now features LEDs.
