Vincent Van Duysen, born in Lokeren, Belgium, in 1962, is an acclaimed architect and designer. After studying at the Sint-Lucas School of Architecture in Ghent and working with Aldo Cibic and Jean De Meulder, he established Vincent Van Duysen Architects in 1989. The firm, now over 30 collaborators strong, handles a variety of projects, from product design for international brands to high-end residences worldwide. Van Duysen’s work is known for its integration of architecture, interior, and product design, using pure materials and clean, timeless aesthetics.
Van Duysen has received numerous awards, including the Flemish Culture Prize for Design and the Henry van de Velde Lifetime Achievement Award. He served as creative director for Molteni&C and Dada and as art director at Sahco for Kvadrat. His work has been widely published, and a new Rizzoli volume on his homes will be released in Spring 2024. Recently, he began collaborating with Zara Home.
