Established in 2018 by Canadian-born designer and artist Evan Jerry, Studio ANANSI blends modern design with Afrocentric elements often overlooked in contemporary aesthetics. The studio’s name honors Anansi, a figure from West African and Caribbean folklore known as the god of storytelling and knowledge. Evan’s early exposure to Anansi’s tales and his global experiences have shaped his unique perspective on culture and storytelling, inspiring him to create sculptural and architectural objects that convey new narratives.

Studio ANANSI has collaborated with brands like CB2 and TRNK New York, and its work has been featured in publications such as Interior Design, Wallpaper*, Azure, Design Milk, Architectural Digest, and Sight Unseen. The studio has also participated in international design exhibitions, including the London Design Festival.
