Serge Mouille was a French industrial designer and metalsmith renowned for his innovative lighting creations. Trained in metalwork from an early age, he developed a unique design language that fused minimalism with organic form.
His breakthrough came in 1953 with the now-famous Three-Arm Floor Lamp, inspired by the human body and the grace of the female form. With an emphasis on gesture, balance, and hand-craftsmanship, Mouille’s work challenged conventional lighting design and earned international recognition, cementing his place in modern design history.
