Ryuichi Kozeki is a Tokyo-based designer with a background in space and interior design from Tama Art University. His work blends product design with architectural thinking, often guided by modernist principles and a focus on essential simplicity. After training under Toshiyuki Kita, he founded RKDS in 2011 and has since worked across materials, markets, and disciplines—from branding to strategy to product development.

His designs aim to renew and reveal value by exploring the structure of objects and their relationships to people and place. Alongside commissioned work, he also creates independent pieces that question the role of design today, regularly showcasing at global design events including Milan Design Week and Designart Tokyo.
