Although compact wall lights are not usually used as a decorative piece, they do provide a rather dramatic luminous pattern that can highlight an element, a surface, or a featured object. Their use can vary based on the type and function of the environment as they offer a high level of versatility due to their simplicity and form. 1- Cromia Colored Concrete Lamps

Cromia is a minimalist set of handmade lamps available in 12 different colors. They are made from an ultra-thin layer of concrete and an internal acrylic glass diffuser while the color variations make them perfect to fit in any room. The collection consists of pendants, ceiling lights, and wall lights, with the latter being a perfect cube measuring 12.5cm on each side. The wall lights weigh about 1.1kg and are purposely designed for indoor use only.

2- Dent

Dent is a series of 3 stunning wall lights by Modular Lighting Instruments. It resembles a minimalistic piece of wall-art when turned off and projects a steady fading lightmap on 2 sides when turned on.

The outer shell is made of aluminum with scratch-resistant fine-textured powder coating in matt black or matt white while the diffuser is made from PMMA. All three models are 120mm high and 25mm wide while the length of the small version is 120mm, medium 260mm, and large 506mm.

3- Square

The Square wall light by Arcchio is a rather simple wall light in the shape of a black cube. The internal gold finish gives a warm yellow tone to the projected light, providing a beautiful contrast with the black body of the lamp. The light’s outer shell is 97mm on each side and is made entirely of aluminum.

The light escapes both upwards and downwards at different angles by adjusting the 2 rotating internal panels. This creates a noticeable play of light on the wall which can set the ambiance of the room.

4- Mats

Design by S. Cornelissen in 2015, Mats is a metal LED wall light suitable as a single indirect lamp or a group composition creating playful volumes of light on the wall. The LED source is protected by an injection-molded opal polycarbonate screen as a diffuser creating a pleasant indirect light.

The lamp is purposely designed for pass-through wiring allowing multiple luminaires to be placed side by side using a single electrical connection point on the wall. It comes in 2 models of 16cm and 21cm and is available in white, black, and sand.

Ramus sconces are made from Oak, are treated with careful brushing and polishing, and are protected with a layer of natural oil-wax. Each lamp is handmade which makes them differ from the others in small details of wood grain. It is 110mm wide, 80mm deep, and 255mm high and weighs around 0.85kg.

6- Meja

The Meja wall light by Lucande is primarily an outdoor lamp that can also be used indoors. With its chic minimal design, it resembles the letter N when viewed from the side. The LED lights sit on both wings allowing upward and downward projections. This creates an indirect illumination that prevents any unpleasant glare.

The body is entirely made from aluminum with glass protections for the LED source. It is only available in graphite and is 27cm long, 15.4cm high, and 10.9cm deep.
