With a background in Architecture, Elina Ulvios’s work carry a special touch that makes using them intuitive and effortless. It is perhaps best described, as she puts it, functional art; celebrating the artistic side of everyday furniture while making them useful and functional. She brings her background of architecture into her work as she understands the concept of space, making them simple pieces that bring together form and function.

Elina delicately combines the basic concepts of architecture: light, space and shape, into simple and insightful designs. Her work can be applied into many different scales as it can be seen as light shifting jewellery as well as furniture or space.
