The handwoven geometric patterns of Muima*’s rugs tell you an entire story about a rich heritage; one they bring along to your space with them. The colors and design fill your room with excitement and life tying everything together as a whole.

They are made in Morocco by local craftswomen of the Aït Ouaouzguite tribe. Scattered in small villages in the mountains, they weave these carpets in their homes with handmade looms often in groups. It usually takes up to weeks or months for each piece to be complete.

And, anonymously within the collectivity, the art is theirs. On the periphery of the peripheries, useful art, art for life.
