Solid Wood Tables and Stools //
Our Top 6 Picks

Solid wood is a piece of lumber milled directly from trees, as apposed to other types such as plywood, fiberboard and veneer which are composed of wood fibers held together with adhesives. It’s much harder to work with compared to engineered wood but is more durable against mold or stains. So when a piece of furniture is built using solid wood, it tends to have a high quality feel and look and is usually much more expensive that other types of furniture using engineered wood. The natural and organic characteristics it brings to a piece of furniture is also a reason why artists often select it for creating stunning designs.

Here we have selected 6 outstanding stools and tables built with solid wood; have a look!

1- Emi Pods

With its beautiful fluted profile, Anaca Studio’s Emi Pods are a great addition to a minimal or modern space. The solid timber has been carved all the way around the stool, creating a texture that captures the light and produces gentle shadows on each side. It is very simple in nature and has a solid yet quiet personality. It is made of solid Red Oak, and it comes in both natural Oak and black colors with two sizes to choose from.
