The Harbour Chair is a wonderful balance between geometric order and organic shapes. A playful curved surface that offers maximum support by enveloping the form of the body sits on a slender structure that creates the oak or steel leg supports of the chairs. The first piece of the collection was the original Harbour Chair which was designed after the launch of MENU’s new creative studio located in Copenhagen’s thriving Nordhavn, Northern Harbour area. It was designed to fit in all sorts of spaces and settings, with a slim and elegant body and outward bending armrests for maximum comfort.

The other pieces were then added to the collection in different stages, with the addition of the lounge chair being the latest. The Harbour Lounge Chair is a sculptural piece with a rather minimalistic expression. A solid yet light chair that provides a more laid-back character to the series.

Set on a solid wood frame, the upholstered shell with gently curved sides and an angled backrest retains the sense of being cradled and supported, while inviting complete relaxation.
