Designed in 1960 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, the AJ lighting series by Arne Jacobsen was conceived as part of a total design vision for the space—down to the last detail. The collection, which includes a floor lamp, table lamps, and a wall sconce, reflects Jacobsen’s signature geometry and sense of proportion.
Defined by its sharp lines, angled shades, and understated silhouette, each piece balances clarity of form with practical adjustability, making it as functional as it is architectural. Still produced by Louis Poulsen in Denmark, the AJ collection remains a timeless example of Danish modern design.
